Thoppil Joppan is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film directed by Johny Antony.
Thoppil joppan is neither a mass entertainer nor a Laugh riot . It is a simple movie with a simple story . Dont expect anything big from it .movie is filled with light hearted comical situations . Johny antony had tried his best to make it as a neat entertainer but fails in giving some good moments to laugh .
Thoppil joppan revolves around the life of Joppan and his love failures in different stages of his life . Events happening his life is the story of the film ! its a simple story , not much depth to it !
Director had managed to give a neat narration to the story but for entertainment much more needed ! Many comedies failed to make us laugh . There are two or three mass scenes that fans can enjoy . Movie failed to keep viewers engaged !
Story and script is weak , Scripting a simple story should have been better .
Cinematography is decent , songs and bgm are good !
Mammotty as always done his job perfectly ! salim kumar had made a decent come back to comical role ! rest of all did there part well !
Thoppil joppan is a watchable flick , Families may enjoy this film .
But lacked the essence of comedy to become a neat entertainer !
Still it is not bad , just average !
Overall : A one time watchable movie
