24 is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language science fiction thriller. film written and directed by Vikram Kumar.
What if a Brilliant director joins a hardworking actor for a fresh and experimental subject.? The Answer is 24 .
Intelligent scripting by Vikram k kumar , Top Notch performance by Suriya , Perfect BGM and superb Songs by A.R Rahman and Mind blowing Cinematography by Thirru made this movie a Top class one .
This movie is not for mass masala movie lovers, this is pure class movie with essential commercial elements in it.
A scientist( Sethuraman) creates a watch which can be used for time travelling . But his Evil brother ( Athreya ) tries to get this watch from him , Athreya kills sethu and his wife but due to the brilliance of sethu ,his son and watch were safe in a womes hand and made Athreya jump from a running train and he goes to coma .
Years later Mani ( Son of sethu ) went to know about the watch , and Athreya wakes up from coma , Tries to get the watch again from mani .! What happens next is the crux of the film .
Brilliance of Vikram kumar is visble in this film . He just made a Complex script , simple with a superb narration technique that everyone could understand the concept . He keeps the viewers guessing whats going to happen next , But what we guessed is going to be completely wrong ! Thats the intelligence in scripting .
Suriya ! outstanding performance it is . he had played three roles with Atmost perfection . Award worthy performace , voice modulation for athreya is superb , He done it with ease ! Hats OFf ..
A.R Rahman Gives Perfect BGM for the film and songs too are good ! Bgm slowly gains the track of the movie .
Thirru 's Cinematography is mind blowing , That made this film looks like a hollywood movie ! Top class work from him .
The length of the film should have been much lesser m some romantic and comedy portion made the film laggy at parts .
But after gaining the momentum 24 gives you edge of seat experience .
This film is pure class movie but got the right elements for being a commercial entertainer . Be it action , romance , comedy , revenge , emotion , thrills ! 24 is rich in all .
Overall : One of the best Sci-Fi movie Indian cinema ever had ! sure shot
