         Movie Review

       --------------------
Theri (English: Spark) is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Atlee.

Theri is a typical vijay style movie which got all essential elements for a mass masala entertainer .Theri is a mix of action , romance and sentiment .Theri surely entertains but story line is highly predictable and old as hills ! The main positive is the direction, which proves that age old drama can be packed with mass content to make viewers engaged .

Vijay kumar a police officer who changes his identity and lives in kerala with his daughter for her safety. After some events Vijay Kumar discloses his true identity and tells his past . He was a honest cop , his wife was murdered by a politician . How this happened and How Vijay takes his revenge is the crux of the film .

Direction - Atlee superbly crafted such an ordinary story to watchable mass masala entertainer . Some emotional and masss scenes are there that will entertain us !

Acting - Vijay as always was stylish and dialogues were good ,Theri baby was awesome . Amy jackson didnt have much role in it . Samantha did her job well !

G.V prakash's BGM was excellent , intro song and en jeevan songs are good but rest of the song are average .
Cinematography was good.

If you love mass masala entertainers then theri will surely entertains you , otherwise you may get disappointed .

Overall : watchable masala flick !
Rating : 2.75 / 5
